I'm interested in what you find it with further test. What do they feel like of the putter and wedges. I have yet to see anybody do a side by side comparison with a pro v1. You should play Peter Finch for the best golfer on YouTube series.
just curious, what about lift and drag effects that happen in the air (and that you don't have in this setting) and have huge influence on the spin results?
Pxg guys have amazing clubs. Amazing! I trust the robot tests more than all the others. Thank you for doing that for the golf balls! I heard that it makes a very hard sound. Did you notice the same?
I can see how useful the scientific data can show the balls potential to compete with the other top brands. Issue with this type of testing is that no every ball works for every golfer. As all the top brands have different versions of their tour ball type. PXG comes out with one ball type and make a way to bold statement that they can compete with the top brands and this ball will work for all golfers, PXG should have at least released 2 versions of the ball, as all top brands have generally 2 versions of their premiums
Balls perform different from one golfer to another and also the equipment they use. Using myself as an example, I've played Pro V1x for a long time and with my last club fitting I also did a ball fitting and found that Bridgestone Tour B X performed better for me and over the last 9 months I can say what a big and better difference my game has become.
I take every review with a gain of salt and also know that each reviewer does base their reviews on stats they produce and personal opinions to include, sound, feel, etc.
Great video and clean robot testing is amazing, but we don’t hit like robots and I hear there is an issue with durability – can you take it on the course so we get the best of both please.
PXG is a really bad choise of golfballs, lower ball speed, lower spin on wedges, higher spin on long irons and driver, even a Pinnacle ball feels better on the face of the putter 🙂
I've seen other reviews of them in play and they aren't as good as this indoor computer says, they are not a 50 dollar ball. They are short off the tee and don't spin on the greens.
Do an actual test looking at these issues as well as dispersion and consistency. Other reviews haven't been this good and there has been a divergence between reviewers. More questions than answers!
The “ooooohs” & “ahhhh’s” getting 10k spin with a lob wedge off a tee…. then, when you think it can’t get any dumber, hit a driver 1.1* down and only get 1800 spin (looks like the ball would have only gone 10’ in the air too. Silly. Thanks for nothing Matt.
Not a whole lot of people have tour speed swing I would say 99.99% of the people that are going to buy and try this ball are going to be duffers under 100 miles an hour probably even under 19 miles an hour what’s the ball do when you swing it slower that’s where most your clientele is I don’t see anybody on tour playing this ball
🇺🇲 Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60,200 returns from my $7,000 investment every 14days.
love the testing but truthfully they will never get a chance imo. By the time they end up at my door the price is close to a Pro V1 so close that there's no point to ordering them.

Trash balls . Robot won’t make it sell for 40$ a dozen
These are THE only tests I consider truly valid. They are 100% objective and completely remove the human element. Great video!

You need to see Rick shiels review

I need a pro v1 or tour b xs for scale

My man Mr. SG really wants to get sponsored by PXG.
Is it a low spin driver that they were using?

See Rick Shiels video where he tests it against the Pro V1 and says it’s more like a midrange Srixon AD 333
There's no truth there until you load up a Prov1 side by side. same setting on the robot. And give all the data. Including carry and total distance.
PXG is a really bad choise of golfballs, lower ball speed, lower spin on wedges, higher spin on long irons and driver, even a Pinnacle ball feels better on the face of the putter 🙂
What was the distance carry on the driver at 107 mph…….Great test…..
It's shocking that there are no other balls being tested in the video, let's see how all the major brands perform please.
I love the fact that I know my low spin drives will go further into the woods, PERFECT good to know.
What about durability? Do they hold up? I’ve seen reviews that say they scuff up easily.
What's the distance compared to other balls? That's a true test, no?
It would be great to see comparisons with other balls.
I've seen other reviews of them in play and they aren't as good as this indoor computer says, they are not a 50 dollar ball. They are short off the tee and don't spin on the greens.
All the reviews I have seen is this is just OK Ball and not worth $45 a Dozen.

Soooooo. Too much spin on a lob wedge & not enough spin off the driver. Thanks for the info. Hard Pass so far
show us with Pro V1 balls…
The cover of the ball is shit though. Wont last 10 hits without having significant damage to the ball.
You really have to stop talking in Pepper's back swing.
If it helps 10-5 hcp players find shortgrass, then 🎉
Nice review Matt.
Numbers might be there but durability, how it plays in the wind, trajectory are all questions.

interesting! I wonder if the rick sheils review is bias because of an unanswered email
PXG continues to shock the establishment golf equipment world, hope this ball lives up to all its hype
Did you this with the latest Kirkland ball also? if so, what is the link to that vid. Thanks
I wonder how well the cover held up. Some other tests have found that the cover is not very robust.
Shiels didn't rate it.
really appreciate an unbiased review definitely will give the balls a test

It
Might spin more on a wedge and have good driver spin but it’s still 10 yards shorter than a pro v1!
$40 a dozen but $8 shipping. not sure of the shipping cost goes up if you buy multiple boxes
