  1. i hate this guy there is not even 1 post of this guy doing something cool its just cringe shit ego fake shit

  2. They weren't fake, just the spotter was doing 185lb assistance lmao…so he was only benching 485lbs which is around his max bench. I can only bench 315 for 3, but can do 405 with a slingshot…think about it.

  3. Ok whole different thing but why did the bench have the second rack(hook things) so low he legit looked like he chocked himself

  4. Theres no shame to that, he tried like every person. He can lift more than an average person, its just that hes cocky.

  5. It's a natural instinct to attempt to rerack the bar if you think you're going to fail on a bench press, but it's a HUGE mistake.
If you miss the hooks, the bar is going to be over your throat/face & you're going to be in a very weak & vulnerable position.

NEVER ATTEMPT TO RERACK WITH THE ELBOWS FLEXED.

If you're alone, bench in the squat rack with set the pins to just below the height of your chest,
so that if you fail, you can just flatten your arch & the bar goes on the pins & you can safely slide out.

  6. I don't live that far from him. He's got the reputation of being super strong. His lifts were "assisted" but, from what I've heard. he wasn't using fake plates.

  7. Can’t stand Castleberry, but 2.75 close grip reps with 4 plates is pretty impressive.

  8. No way someone that benches 675 is struggling with 405 on any grip. He should be able to do that weight for around 30 reps.

  9. 405×3 Close grip…
    Yeah I believe it.
Im way way smaller than him and can do 315 x 4 Close grip.
He once competed in powerlifting and legitimatly is a strong dude.

Sucks that now even his legit feat of strenght are questionned cause him being a moron…

  10. I think he 100% had 675 on the bar, it’s just that his spotter was helping a lot and even then it was very slow. Peak strength was probably 495 or so.

  11. he goes to both the gyms I go to in socal and I met him. pretty chill dude but gave some pretty shitty advice like how my short bicep insertion is a result of insufficient range of motion
