After taking lessons from the best instructors I was frustrated. I was not improving. Learning about the Single Plane swing changed my golf-life forever. In 1994 I was at the point of quitting the game.

That’s when I learned about Moe Norman and the Single Plane swing and it changed my life forever. I know, that if you are willing to take a close look at the Single Plane common sense simplicity, it can change your life too.

Email me at: Toddg@gravesgolf.com to find out how you can learn the Single Plane Golf Swing.

The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.

Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.

This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.

The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

  1. Coupe years back I first saw graves golf and I heard you mention this swing was a natural swing. When my 6 yr daughter got her first set of clubs last year she address the ball in the single plane. Never played or been taught anything. I was convinced at that point.

  2. Commit to learning this swing. It will actually make you laugh that it is so easy to hit a ball dead straight! I don’t even need the driving range before a round!

  3. Thank you for the time and effort to post these videos. I have seen significant improvement in my ball striking with this single plane swing. I have a long way to go but I’m committed to this swing.

  4. Hi Todd, Thank you for your videos they’re great! Love the one plane swing. I tried it once 10 years ago and now I’m trying it again. The main drawback for me (59 years old) is that I found a loss of distance with the one plane swing. Any suggestions?

  5. Back when I ws playing a lot i tinkered with this swing and i do recall hitting it a lot more solidly, but then I decided 'ha', it looks too funky etc. I intend to come to one of your schools this spring. I'm going to play a lot of golf this year. Thanks Todd- for making it understandable…

  6. After 20+ years of struggling near the 100s. I broke 80 for the first time in my life with single plane swing. I hate those people that comment about doing this and that. But I did just that. Thank you Todd and Moe.

  7. It helped me a bunch. Went from high 90s to low 80s and better. I think some pros would benefit greatly from the single plain. Thanks 😊

  8. I have been searching on line how to grip the club because I was having a hard time not hitting it thin, slicing it ect. So I watched a video tonight how you tilt first, square the face then bring the trail hand in like skipping a rock with the over lap grip. I brought the club back and swung hard thinking I would just thin it and I killed it. 20 in a row so that tilt and grip is awesome. Thank You.. Now I need to learn the rest..

  9. Yup, I have only played 3 times in the last year. I practiced this single plane swing setup in my house for a year. I went out and played about 2 weeks ago using this model. My friend said, man, you are hitting it so solid, and I was. I wasn't pulling it, wasn't blocking it, just hammering them out there. I had no swing thoughts, just setup and let it go. Best thing I have ever done for my game, and my back!
