In this episode, Chris and Tony discuss new products from Titleist, Mizuno, and Callaway.
For 2023, the Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1X golf balls will feature a new gradient core design, claiming to offer lower spin off drivers without sacrificing greenside spin and performance. Titleist is also dropping their T-Grind wedges and TSR hybrids.
Playing “catch up” is Mizuno. They’re launching two drivers, one fairway wood, and one hybrid. We also get brand new wedges, dubbed “S23.”
Rounding out this embargo podcast is the Callaway ERC Soft golf ball. Slotting into the “premium ionomer” categroy, we’ll be curious to see if this gives golfers more spin around the greens…

In my opinion the Srixon Z Star Diamond is the new Pro V1 if you want to save a few bucks. The cover is SO soft the fuckers just spin and spin!!!

It seems like lately I find lost Pro V1's all over the cousre with the new players taking up the game. I have a 80 to 90 driver speed so I take them home and put them in a box. I play the Vice Pro Soft and Pro Plus after watching Adam's content about which ball to play according to swing speed. When you are a 17 HCP you are going to lose balls. $35 is a good price point for a good ball. I enjoy the No Putts Given podcast and miss the former members. Maybe touch on a podcast on Callaway signing YouTube golfers and the impact if any that will have on their sales.
