Be sure to follow this step my step process and blend in your swing changes from the top of the backswing.

This was an extremely efficient practice session and there is no reason at all that you can’t look for this with your practice routine.

  1. Great video Trottie👍. Any chance you could post a clip on how to avoid excess lateral movement when going from top of backswing to impact please?

  2. You are not dropping it. You are going to it. To your slot anyway. I just go to mine too. It's a tad bit lower than yours with a flatter left wrist.

  3. Do a detailed video on shallowing your driver and hitting a tight draw and talk about take away (step by step) and your down swing (swing thought etc) and that video will get millions of views but do not use an iron to teach a driver swing (not saying that's what you're doing here, I'm talking in general). Cheers

  4. this is a fantastic video im gonna end up watching a hundred times this winter. i am so close to being able to shallow the club and strike my irons much better. its like i understand what to do and why when i watch, but have a hard time executing it and seeing in my own swing when im addressing the ball getting ready to hit. im a mid handicapper, finally took lessons last spring and my game much improved all summer. these 3 vids from trottie are exactly where i need to focus in order to get to that next level and start breaking 80, and getting my swing to where it is technically very sound. shallowing the club and squaring the club face with good tempo is my kryptonite right now

  5. This is something I need to work on. At the moment I'm very steep with irons bit it's more of a bandaid. Managed to sort driver with the help of your last driver video and the one with Aaron Rogers, got attack angle 3⁰ up and launch angle at 10⁰+

  6. One of your first tips in this is pausing at the top, absolutely one of the biggest game changers for me when practicing.. notice a lot of people including myself that tend to slice the ball always 'jump' from the top, feeling a slight pause, and then go, is just such a nice drill. Great video as always.

  7. trottie all your videos are spectacular!! packed full of awesome info and tip's!! i've learned so much!! thank you and keep up the great content!!

  8. Collab with the Trottinator at The Kingdom would be a dream. Thanks for the tips, really feel I’ve been struggling with sequencing on this Frankenstein swing. Cheers!

  9. Any thoughts about hitting off a range matt? This is all we have access to in Utah when the weather turns.

  10. another great video.

when you get tired of the truck, I am sure there's a career in instruction for you … Butch-type Guru in shades … 😎

5’7 golfer here. I want to tinker with my equipment this winter. Whats a good place to start spec wise for 6 iron length/loft/lie? Based on golfers of similar height and common specs that theyve been fitted into.
