Love the MN shoutout! Lets go casey
<3
Putting on those cones is my least favorite thing I have ever seen/heard in disc golf.
Check out the course in becker mn sometime if you ever get a chance i played bethel a month ago its very nice
Both of my parents grew up in Austin, I swear that brick house 2 down from your friend's is my grandma & grandpa's haha. And my wife went to Bethel, very cool seeing these come up!
Awesome video. You filleted Kaposia! I grew up playing Moir Park in Bloomington with the cones. The cones are harder than regular baskets. Moir was put in in 1979, the same year they installed Hansen. It looks like they switched out to chain baskets now at Moir.
Hansen Park shout out! Nice. Played that at age 13 in 1980 when it opened up. After taking up disc golf again this year I’ve been back a few times for old times sake. The cones are tough!
Very cool to see you on these courses! Always love your content.
The best state is Michigan!!!
Best dusc golf state is North Carolina. Chaprlotte definitely tops Minneapolis.
mvp makes the best discs. ngl
I lived in Des Moines for many years and played competitive disc golf there for 15years, a couple times a year I'd go to Minneapolis and other parts of MN for events and casual rounds, we'd also go down to Kansas City a few times a year for the same.
While both of those are great disc golf states, I don't think either is better than North Carolina. Now as a Charlotte resident, I am blown away with the amount of quality, high level courses here. Raleigh and Winston Salem have some fabulous tracks too. Not to mention that when you turn on the private course filter on UDisc there are over 2dozen private courses within 3hours, including NorthCove and Sugaree which are truly incredible. North Cove (3courses) is by far the nicest and most picturesque course I've ever seen, and many others agree. Too bad the NCAA holds their championship at North Cove in the early spring before everything turns green. It is much more beautiful from May-Sept, and much tougher as some of those sneaky lines are grown in and you're forced to throw tougher shots in general.
All that said, Minnesota has fabulous disc golf, my favorite "old school" Minnesota course is Cedar Creek "middle?", kaposhia or highland hills at the ski resort. Favorite MN new school course is obviously BRP.
Glad you got to experience some MN disc golf. Great DG community up there! Solid people!
I think weather has to be considered when deciding the best state for disc golf and based on Minnesota’s winters I’m going to say they are definitely not the best state for disc golf. Lol.
Learned how to play disc golf at Todd Park in Austin!!!
Love to see you in Minnesota!
Keep this up Casey! We're luvin It! #speakfromtheheart
You were in Austin and didn't come to Rochester MN to play driftless 18
Got to meet and play with Casey the 3rd round at Brookview, Super cool guy.
You know it Trick!
Thanks Casey for giving us another slice of the pro touring life.
Those “cone” baskets probably work better for push putters with the disc arcing downward than straight forward spin putters, especially if you are a bit off center. I believe those baskets were made and installed in 1980 when most people push putted. I wonder if it is more likely to bounce out of those baskets if you are off center left with the disc spinning clockwise toward the basket (RHBH)?
Saw you at rebelution! Such a good show
Twin Town is always a blast! Glad I got revenge on those courses. That playoff was the day I realized the Berg can’t do everything 😂
NOPE
Glad to have you in MN Casey!
