Golf Show Episode 82 | Gloves – Time to up your game – J Lindeberg & Freshgrip Review

Hi everyone!

Welcome to Episode 82 of the Golf Show.

Spring is in the air, so let’s ditch boring old white golf gloves and try something with a little more colour!

In this episode Paul tests some new gloves from an exclusive J Lindeberg and Scottsdale Golf collaboration and also some gloves by a relatively new company called Freshgrip.

All the gloves have unique patterns and are AAA Cabretta leather. Paul tests them over a number of weeks playing on the course and on the driving range.

Also, Paul gives out some handy tips to help extend the life of your golf gloves.

  1. …ow much???
    I thought you were a Tyke Paul😲😲😲
Funny thing, I've never really worn a glove. I've used MacWets when it's honking down occasionally but not a regular deal, I'll dry my hands and grips rather than wear a glove.
Give the Costco ones a demoing Paul, they're cheap as chips and if they're something you can wear, they'll save you a good deal of money 👍

  2. I’m always interested in glove reviews, so enjoyed this one, thanks Paul. I’m a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to gloves. I find myself buying the cheapest from Decathlon. They aren’t that bad though. Maybe one for you to review. Great magic trick at the beginning Paul 👍

  3. great review, Paul. £30 for the JL especially with the motifs flaking off seems ultra steep to me. The fresh grip is more like my price point. I'm currently using the GX Cabretta that I buy online. 3 for £24.99. Can't fault them. The JL coulorways a little garish to me. Plus being a ginger I can't wear orange 🤣

    Happy golfing.
