WTH man…..lol
For me, the easiest way to explain this 'feel' to people is to have the very first move in the transition, to immediately have the feeling of turning/twisting the right hand/palm to point straight back. If you want to develop lag, which leads to more distance, which also comes from NOT having the clubface open when you deliver the handle forward, you MUST have the first move at the TOP / Transition being a twisting motion on the grip to start the face closing, left knuckles down, – if you don't, more lag will only mean balls going further right.
I’d be afraid I’d just dig even deeper into the ground if I raise the club head up high.
I use to do this twisting with the knuckles when I hit a punch shot, usually with my 5iron. and with great success. problem is, if I use this move in normal swing the flight is low and the ball rolls a mile. how to get high shots and still have that knuckle twist??
Sorry but either you talk too fast or I listen too slow. This video sounds like a word salad to me.
Easier to tell someone to just keep your hands close to your body lol.
Lost me.
Nice explanation, thx!
This is a great video and lesson. I've improved my shots and score by average of 3 to 5 after 9 rounds…thank you.
My son had never had a club in his hands; I gave him my 3 wood and told him “Just try to hit the ball with the butt end of the handle.” First swing, great lag and he ripped a smooth beauty.
Knuckles down?
I appreciate this very much, I am doing fine with the half swing but needs work on the full swing. Looking at other comments, I feel that to do this right, you still need to have a good foundation in swing mechanics. Meaning, one has to hit fairly consistent with a controlled swing, but just needs the benefit of club head speed with lag added. If a swing has many flaws, this just added to the confusion. For myself, I can make good contact with fair accuracy, but needs distance, and this is perfect for me. Thank you again.
Y'all are by far the best instructor's I've seen and the Top Speed System has helped me immensely! I'm 6'6, and I have an early extension problem. I get in the slot, get good rotation but it still pops up! Would shortening my backswing help with that? Thanks for the tip if you have time to give me one! Keep up the great work!
Great couching
Then, what is too "steep"?

i have the problem when i twist the the club down like that i hit smothered hooks. maybe my grip is too strong?
i have a hard time getting the wrist movement correct in mid swing. can i do it more in the backswing by extending the right wrist back on itself and would this accomplish the same thing?
Great video. I just followed the link for the added video. The first 5 minutes was a great sell and then it went on and on for 20 minutes and counting. Honestly, I was sold and finally muted the advertising video and walked away. I keep checking in every minute or two and am still waiting for the next step to make the purchase or whatever TS has to offer. This is by far the strangest and LONGEST advertisement I have ever seen.
This reminds me of Garcia's swing in that he gets lag on the way down rather than wrist set at the top.
