The Dutch were fresher, they had around 3 hours more time to rest after the semi-finals. To be fair both semi-finals should be played at the same time

this was teamhockey vs individual skilled hockey. clearly,you cant win it with skills alone like argentina tried. what a epic tiki-taka hockey with alberts finishing it off
Wow .the 3rd goal from Ned was out of this world…hockey teams should learn what an execution means …when coming near the goal, mostly offensive plan fails even it is one on one .it needs quickness and decisive mind.

That third goal surely the most beautiful piece of hockey of this tournament, all the way from the start. Getting the ball out from the back line, under pressure, with the close, quick passes (a double 1-2tje! (is there an English word for that?)). Then the cross pass into a deep pass. To end it with a nice sprint and a solid finish. The goal itself isnt even that special imo, but everything leading up to it…
Dutch are a class apart when it comes to women's hockey…the gap between them & other teams become wider & wider with the Dutch winning world cups & Olympics year after year …..whole tournament had no upsets…would have loved to seen a new winner which would be great for the women's game…
