  1. 4 great tips for putting 👍
Stable lower body. One tip for checking this on the course (where you can't use the stick) is to check your swing with the sun at your back. You'll see if you're moving. Helps if the sun's shining 🤔

  2. Just played 18 holes after watching this. Every. Single. Hole I putted within 2. Great advice.

  3. Great tips! I use that exact practice swing technique and it helped me tremendously with distance control. The point of entry tip is awesome too, even on long putts I visualize the ball rolling in the cup the last 6 inches, i can usually see how it needs to enter the hole, then I just follow that line back to my ball with my eyes to see where I need to start my roll to achieve that exact last 6 inches. Now if anything I tend to leave putts a tad short, which sucks but better than rolling 5-6’ past i reckon.

  4. Hi Chris,
Thank you for this simple but informative video. I have been really struggling with my putting of late but this video has really helped. I can't quite seem to get to grips with using the line on the ball, it kind of puts me off? However, the stability drill and the tip about using my eyes on the practice stroke have worked a treat. I am still going to try the line on the ball tip, maybe I'll get used to it?
    Once again many thanks.👍

  5. I played a tournament a couple of weeks back and had 40 putts in a round of 83 with seven 3-putts. My fairway % was excellent and I was in most GIRs giving me good birdie chances but I wasn't able to putt anything and by the end of the round my confidence had gone really low. I think my game would really improve if I can just work out the putting. But I just don't get it. I'm missing easy 3 foot putts and am leaving all the long putts short because I'm worried about going past the hole. I'm just not able to get a stable and smooth putting swing. What can I do to just get my average putting strokes down?

  6. I did try putting with the aid of the line on the ball. For short putts it probably helps to align the putter movement along the target line. For longer putts pointing the line on the ball in the direction of the break I feel completely destroys any feel factor involved. I have now been a member of 4 golf clubs. In my experience doing all of these pre shot routines will only lead to tension. Why? Because either your golf buddies will lose patience or the group behind will shout something like ' get a bloxxy move on'.

  7. Shot my best round ever 94 (44 puts) my brother shot an 88 (36 putts) I’ve never beaten him before and putting lost this one for me… so now I’m at your video so this doesn’t happen again lol.

  8. Thanks for the tips and moreover a routine which I should stick with.I tend to change my thinking every round and hopefully that's normal when you DON'T have a routine.

  9. Hi Chris
I came off the course today after a horrendous round due to very poor putting.
I have just watched your video and it has given me hope. All the faults you highlighted I was guilty of so on my next round I’m going to give it a go with your simple but superb tips.
    Many thanks
    Jimmy

  10. Great videos! I find many of the golf instructors online to be kind of annoying or worse; so much so that I can’t watch them fully or certainly not twice. Your videos can be watched multiple times (for slow learners like me) and they always help. Keep doing what you’re doing!

  11. Hi Chris, I have a handicap of 35 but mostly because of my poor putting, I can reach the green in 3 on a par 4 etc. I know practice is the answer but also need your help. Dotti

  12. Never up, never in. Chris, you didn't hole a single putt in this video apart from the 5 putt at the start. I like the tips in this video however. Looking a the hole and the putt when practicing the stroke is a great one I'm trying to implement.
