Lee Westwood shot a fine opening round 68 (-4). This after a double bogey on the 2nd hole too.
Birdies on 4, 5, 9, 10, 14 & 15 repaired the damage & had him shooting up the leaderboard.
A bogey on the 17th threatened to put a spoiler on his round but a fine birdie at the last left him right in the hunt heading into day 2.

Golfers should have the choice to play where they want . The issue that the PGA have is the vast sums of money that the LIV players can earn this it is a threat . Why don't they have the same animosity against other tours , the European tour for example . The PGA are shitting themselves that the world's best players are not going to play on their tour.
