Golf has been a sport on the Pacific Mini Games program seven times in the past. From 1985 till 2001, when Norfolk Island hosted, Golf was a part of the Games. In 2009 it was then picked back up again for the Cook Islands Games. It has remained a part of the Pacific Mini Games ever since.
