What Are The Best Game Improvement Irons of 2022?

I’ve got my hands on 9 different models to find out. I put every set of irons through their paces, testing them using state of the art TrackMan technology and Titleist Pro V1 golf balls – both on the range and out on the golf course.

I’ve broken this project down to categories. So which game improvement irons came out on top. And, perhaps more importantly, which will I be putting in play this season?

First of all, let’s run down the contenders…

  1. I was hitting the Ping and TaylorMade's to see which one I wanted to buy. I ended up going with the 425's for the better consistent accuracy. I was either 10 yards or less off center with the 425 irons. With the Stealth irons I had plenty of shots under 10 yards off center, but I also had enough shots that were as high as 20 yards off center. The Stealth irons were a little better as far as feel, but in the end, hitting fairways more consistently won out. Plus if you take the higher lofted club head which was just as accurate you even gain more yardage than the Stealth irons.

  2. Great review Hannah. I do like the look of the Stealth irons. Nice to see you in a dress. Ha ha. Sorry, couldn’t resist!

  3. Nice review on the clubs. I would suggest that you try to reduce your hand gestures which are non-stop. You want hand gestures to reinforce, or amplify, key words, but when overdone just become a distraction.

  4. Great presenting as ever but please quieten your hands… waving them as you talk constantly is a little off putting. Keep up the great content though!

  5. I went onto the Callaway Rogue ST, it's an amazing set, slipped into my play immediately. Love the look and the play is incredible. Obviously everything is subjective.

  6. The Titleist T300 looks like a good overall iron. Draw bias can be a hook bias for me, but I've done alright with old Callaway X12s in the day with massive offset and draw bias. Ping G425 seem good too with less draw.

  7. I bought Wilson Launchpad 2's and I am single digit handicap. I just wanted, effortless, easy to hit, powerful irons, and wow, these are the best irons I ever owned in terms of how easy they are to play, with such little effort. And I been through at least 15 sets in my life, blades on up to game improvement. I will be playing super game improvement irons the rest of my life, for sure. the reason I didn't buy stealth, is because they are nowhere near as forgiving, and if you occasionally hit a fat shot, they dig. The Wilson's don't dig, and fat shots are vastly, vastly more distance. Of course, Hannah is pro level, so she doesn't miss-hit many super fat shots, so I can see why Stealth is the pick for sure.

  8. I love my Cleveland halo xl hybrid-irons. Makes the game easier! Great vid, and you look great, too!
