Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

Rory is the hottest golfer going into this major; in fact, he is so hot, he should win by a half dozen strokes, but he won't. He will lose in some disastrous fashion, but he will go low before the weekend takes him down in flames.
Statistics are clear that the closer you get, the better. Furthermore, far too often even the best 'take an iron for safety' and promptly stuff it into the rubbish.
They would be far better looking to hit a smooth driver than any lay up every single time.
Rahm will join LIV within 90 days.
Ken Brown
Thanks! That was an awesome really interesting video! Cheers!
Bravo to USGA for this style of video – the concept of short clips BEFORE the tournament, giving fans a view into players processing holes in real-time, is a GREAT view into the strategy side of golf that makes it so fascinating. More of this!
Liv golf gives $35 a shot over 54 holes to come dead last over 3 days from 48 players.
The PGA? 🤦🤷🏻🤣
The best part about this hole is the temporary tee box on that guy's property. It all comes down after the open
That's my ideal golf ball 😂👍
This feels like a "we have to show the younger guys we can be cooler than LIV" moment; especially with the '21 US Amateur champ at LIV last week. It's nice, but the timing didn't escape me especially since no such video (playing exhibition) exists like this from the USGA at Torrey.
Patrick Reed: the best strategy is just to hit driver and if I can't find my ball I'll just toss one next to the green and pretend I found it
Grande Rory, grande Jon, grande Seve !!
I would be laying up with my longest drive 🙄
Nice to watch two of the good guys in pro golf vs the money grabbers who joined LIV exhibitions.
Rory might need 3wood instead of the big dog😉👍
Penalised for hitting the ball in the fairway, what is the point in that? It makes no sense, you could just hit the ball into the rough and make your par.
Get rid of the music please
A big yes for the USGA……a big screw you to the pga,for several reasons……
I like how John Rahm looks like your drinking buddy hacker – until he swings the club
Thank you for some content that actually has to do with the open
More! Show more of the lead up to any tournament! The Pros get to spend plenty of time on the course, I think seeing them in shorts and a practice round contemplating weekend strategy makes them a hair more relatable.
LIV
310 uphill is obviously a driver for most but probably a 3 wood for Rory, and a 2 iron for Bryson 😅
I don't know what people have to say behind the scenes about Rory but it seems he's always super willing to discuss with media, youtube channels, fans, etc. about playing golf. Definitely one of the best ambassadors for the sport.
Rory looks like Smalls in that hat from sandlot
Kudos USGA on focusing on golf ! The PGA Better step up his game quick soon and in a hurry.
No tiger 😭😭😭
Rory looks like a munchin standing next to Rahm
Get Rahm to Dr. Kwon. He could add 25-50 yards with less effort if he fixed up that stunted backswing.
Some decent people at last in youtube.
