Spot on.
1. Anthony Kim agrees with that choke down concept.
More control for me too and club feels a bit more comfortable in the grip.. might cause you to loose a few yards but so what
.short grass is good.
2. The greenside technique..I often use my 5 wood for that shot and comes out sweet just like yours.. It does take a bit of practice to determine the amout of roll out from fringe to the pin but if you practice it a bit.. and trust it, it "does" work great. Like a long putt..and yes.. choke down too.

Could you please explain the particularities of using different ball heights when hitting with irons on par 3s. I noticed, during the par 3 game at the Masters, that some were hitting very high ball on tees. Does that affect spin, height in certain situations? Seems that we never hear how to setup ball heights on tees on learning videos. Thanks
