With the Presidents Cup taking place at Charlotte’s Quail Hollow Club in September, this year’s Wells Fargo Championship has moved to TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm. Two-time FedExCup winner Rory McIlroy headlines the field as he looks to defend his title from last season. The Northern Irishman will be hoping to continue where he left off after firing a final-round 64 at the Masters. Last year’s runner up, Abraham Ancer will be aiming to emulate previous performances as he returns to an event and golf course (shares the course record) where he has displayed strong form. Meanwhile, recent Wells Fargo Championship winners teeing it up include Max Homa (2019), Jason Day (2018), Brian Harman (2017), James Hahn (2016) and Rickie Fowler (2012). Other notables are major winners Gary Woodland, Webb Simpson, Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed.

  1. Great to see Jason Day back, has a much smoother swing now due to injuries, similar to Tiger's comeback swing. Aside from Tiger in his prime, Jason had one of the most violent swings imo.

  2. That’s 2016 jday right there … just not quite as confident a strut going quite yet … I hope he goes on and blows the field away over the weekend.. the game is better to watch when a stylish flusher is throwing darts 🎯 all day long !!! Let’s face it jrahm Scottie’shef spieffy are about as stylish as a pair of of Ugg boots

  3. His golf swing looks so much better for his back. Glad to see him playing well again.

  4. Wow his swing has definitely changed over the years. Not so wide stance and aggressive swing. I like this better.
