Shanshan Feng was able to chase down overnight leader Yukari Baba, whose 2 birdie, 2 bogey even par round had her stuck at 8-under overall for the tournament. A 4 birdie, 1 bogey 3-under was enough for Feng to knot it up with Baba and force a playoff.
