Lewis Hamilton has been showing his support for Naomi Osaka after she was fined by Roland Garros, the French Open. He made it clear that mental health should be at the forefront of concerns and showed his support for the female tennis player saying she is ‘incredibly brave’.
Naomi Osaka was fined after she stated that she would not talk to any press during the tournament, she later withdrew as a result. Osaka was fined £10’500 by chiefs at the French Open for her actions.
