Sugar Rodgers' Sweet Connection to Golf and Emotional Return Home | Skratching the Surface

Before she was a phenom on the court at Georgetown, Ta’Shauna “Sugar” Rodgers was a natural on the driving range, playing on her high school team in Suffolk, Virginia.

How Sugar got into the game is quite the story all its own. A golf ball through a church window ignited a life in sports for the author of the upcoming “They Better Call Me Sugar: My Journey from the Hood to the Hardwood.”
due to hit shelves May 4, 2021.

We captured the emotional return to Virginia for the former WNBA champion on this Skratching the Surface.
