Located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Portsea Golf Club presents a significant challenge, despite its short length of 5,747 meters from the tips. The course is built on the natural rolling dunes, amongst thick coastal shrubbery.
The layout features a number of blind tee offs and tight approaches into elevated greens which requires consistent accuracy around the course.
As is the case with many of the Mornington Peninsula courses, there are plenty of opportunities to record a good score, at the same time, a high number is never too far away.
While Portsea is a members club, it is open to the public throughout the week, including Sundays. A multi-million dollar redevelopment of the club house and resort was unvailed in 2013. This facility is availble to be used for functions, weddings and corporate events.
