Fairway Wood Or Hybrid | Which Should You Play?

One of the most popular decisions golfers are faced with is what club is best between their longest iron and fairway woods. Many golfers choose a higher-lofted fairway wood or hybrid. Golf fairway woods feature a larger clubhead shape with more weight pulled back to create higher launch. Golf hybrids, compared to fairway woods, will generally offer a lower ball flight.

In this video, 2nd Swing’s Drew Mahowald and Jackie Johnson compare a 7-wood and a 4-hybrid against each other with the help of Trackman technology to identify if playing a fairway wood or hybrid is better to fill that gap.
