This was my first flight back after having not been allowed to fly since the 1 Jan 2021. I was certainly very nervous before take off but the moment my wheels left the ground I felt happy and just took in the flight. My flight plan was simple, get away from the airfield, get up high and practice my aircraft handling skills, some stalls, just get comfortable before heading back into the circuit.
I made mistakes, I practiced basic flight handling before heading back into the circuit. It was lumpy but I definitely needed the second approach.
After this flight I had 3 more flights that I took on board the learning points.
