Ideal Swing – Best Of Collage

Making of Ideal Swings

1. High Quiet Hands
Hands high and relaxed between shoulder and ear.
Hands go straight to the ball; they do not drift lower or out away from body before swing
motion.

2. Early Load
Get stride done prior to starting rotational swing motion stepping directly towards pitcher.
Balanced stance with feet little further apart than shoulders.
Closed front toe.

3. Tall, Balanced, Rotational Swing
Strong front leg, strong back leg forcing hips to rotate generating the power; not swaying.
Strong top hand with full arm extension at point of contact.
Ending swing up on the back toe, allowing for maximum hip rotation, generating max power.
Swing ends just as quiet as it starts; no body flopping or staggering around trying to
catch yourself.
