2021 Footjoy Pro SL Shoe Review
What I Like
Pro SL is a bit like the Titleist ProV1 it just dominates. Footjoy throughout a calender year Footjoy have between 50 and 55% of the shoe market. However PRO SL on its own has between 14 and 16% that on its own which is more than any other shoe brand on the market!
The Pro SL has a two season window and 2021 sees this model into its second year. With a nice new grey colourway. I am a massive Pro SL fan and this in my opinion is the only spikeless shoe you can wear all year round.
The outsole is unreal with 189 dimples for great traction but because of the shape offers great stability. It literally feels like your stuck in one place. The harness is a great design feature but also pulls your foot in for optimum support.
The midsole of the shoe is dual density with firm FTF which is fine tune foamed this gives a great stability. However on the heel and front of the foot the FTF foam is soft to be cushioning.
The shoe is finished with Chromoskin leather which is super soft and fully waterproof. This shoe fits true to size.
I personally really like the grey colourway which would be perfect for the winter and spring months. If you have not tried ProSL you are missing out.
