DIY Golf Club Restoration – 2 Minute Vintage 1976 Cobra Baffler Face Lift

Using a quality automotive polish is an easy way to remove scuffs and sky marks from golf clubs. This works on both metal and wooden drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids. There is a slight amount of grit in the compound that does all the work for you with no effort.

The key is to use a wet sponge pad on a drill or polisher. Keep the sponge wet and moving to avoid burns. Take care around edges as this is where the paint or polyurethane is generally the thinnest. Wipe it down with a soft microfiber towel when you’re done.

Always wash the club first to avoid introducing scratches from dirt.
