Escaping To Play Golf in OREGON – Broadmoor Golf Course Vlog – Seeking Birdies

Last week, I escaped quarantine and drove down to Portland, Oregon to play golf at Broadmoor Golf Course. Portland is just 3 hours south of Seattle, Washington where the courses are still closed. I happened to find the Broadmoor Golf Course via a Google search and it did not disappoint.

Opening in 1931, it was an old dairy farm converted to a golf course by 6 sisters (YES, Women Pioneered the Broadmoor Golf Course). It has a little bit of everything you could ask for in a course; elevation, water, trees, length, firm greens, and rolling fairways. I finished my round in about 4 hours; shooting a 92. With Par being 72, I was happy with my finish.

Started this journey at 24.5 Handicap, seeking to be a better golfer. Seeking Birdies is a name that I think sums up the Channel. No one goes golfing and wants to get bogeys. Everyone wants Birdies. I’m Seeking Birdie golf.

Make sure you click Subscribe to follow the journey. I would love a thumbs up and comment. I do not claim to be a golf professional; nor do I claim to know everything. I started this channel to combine my hobbies of golf and photography/videography. I’m always looking to learn and grow in the game of golf. All comments and insight are greatly appreciated. I look forward to the journey!
