Cal Poly Golf Team member Buddy Senatore tees off on day two of the Fresno County Am

Buddy Senatore blasts his drive off hole number 1 at Belmont CC. Buddy is just a two shots behind the leader. The Fresno County Amateur Golf Championships has been hosting competitive amateur and senior amateur golf tournaments since 1993. The Fresno County Amateur tournament is sanctioned by the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) player point system and also hosts competitive flights for women, and golf players with handicap/indexes. The Fresno County Amateur is the only tournament in the Fresno region that has been contested on several sites all within the county. Prior host sites have been Fresno West Golf Course, Sherwood Forrest Golf Club, Fig Garden Golf Course and Belmont Country Club. Current tournament directors: Tony White, Jacob Erwin, Rick Burton, Elizabeth White and Scott Karl. The tournament is hosted in the month of June the weekend after Father’s Day and the US Open.
