What’s up guys Bird from Bird Knows Best. You clicked on this video because you want to know more about the Gerbing mountain sport S3 gloves. What this is battery powered gloves that are designed to keep your hands warm, in super cold situations. They come in sizes small to 2XL. These are large and I would say they fit true to size. When I play golf I wear large golf gloves, so I would say get the size you normally get in gloves. The gloves are pretty easy to use. You can see on the wrist you have a clear window that you can see with 4 bars of power to see how warm the gloves are. You hit the power button once, and 4 lights come on meaning its full power. Hit it again 75% power with 3 lights, 50% power 2 lights, and 25% power 1 light. Now with my test I found on full power which is 135 degrees, all 4 lights on, the battery last for about 2 hours, but the battery did blink for about 10-12 minutes.

So you got almost 2 hours and 15 minutes with the gloves on full power. The gloves themselves without the battery are very warm. They are also water proof and wind proof. So if you’re ice fishing or something like that, you can stick your hand into the hole, and not worry about your hands getting wet. Here’s the charger that comes with it just goes into the wall. But the nice thing about the charger is it has 2 plugs, so you’re able to plug in both batteries at the same time. In my charging test I found it’s just under 4 hours to charge the both batteries.

These gloves do a great job of keeping your hands warm. I was snowmobile for a couple hours. I was snowmobile without hand warmers, about zero degrees out. My hands stayed warm the whole time. They’re actually really warm without the battery on. They’re very versatile gloves. I really like them. They are about $225 bucks on Amazon. They may sound spendy but if you’re like me, your hands get cold really fast, you won’t regret the purchase.

In the box you get 2 gloves, 2 7 volt batteries, and a wall charger with 2 ends so you can charge both batteries at the same time. Each glove weighs 4.5 ounces without the battery. Each glove weighs 9.4 ounces with the battery in it. Easy to remove the battery, unzip, slide the battery out, unplug it. Easy to charge just look on the bottom, plug the power adapter in. You notice when I do, it turns from green to red. Same when you put the second one in and they’re both done charging both these lights will go green. Just plug them in, get to set a timer and see how long it takes to charge them to full. The batteries are charge.

Water proof test, pretty water proof. I don’t feel anything. Yeah what do you think the temperature is? 810. Yeah I’m dry. It’s really cold, it’s about 5 below zero, wind chills is about 30 below. We just took 9 tip ups in off the lake, and I had my Gerbing gloves on the whole time. Just on the medium setting which is 2 bars, and my hands stayed super warm. Was reaching in the ice water, pulling out the tip ups, wrapping up the line but they stayed real warm. If your hands get cold, get some Gerbing heated gloves. They’re totally worth the money; they will definitely keep your hands warm. The battery last from anywhere 2-8 hours depending on the power setting. They are warm, water poof, wind proof. They’re great gloves, you won’t be disappointed. They’re $255bucks. There’s a link in the description below to purchase them at Amazon. They’ll also be available on my Bird Knows Best.com Amazon store in the outdoor gear section. So if you’re looking for warm gloves check these out. Hope you liked this video.
