Overview of SAM Tuyen Lam Golf (Sacom Tuyen Lam Golf Club)
SAM Tuyen Lam Golf fashioned by Canadians is located in a deep narrow valley of Dalat. The location of the course is on the east bank of Tuyen Lam Lake surrounded by massive mountains and lines of pine trees, creating a great scenic landscape and cool weather all year round for golf. However, early morning fog makes the golf course misty and most days you can’t play golf until 9 am or 10 am.
The topography of this 18-hole golf course is made up of a deep valley with naturally high mounds surrounded by mature pine forests and tropical rainforest. The winding paths along the hillside are covered with lush green grass. Standing anywhere in the golf course, you can also feel the harmonious combination between nature and human hands, creating a wonderful project. At the end of the path is a luxury resort with magnificent European architecture standing majestically between the vast space of the golf course and the mountains.
Going through the course and its challenging holes
Plenty of holes on SAM Tuyen Lam Golf Club play from high tees to tight fairways. Greens are well protected with gentle slopes and full of Bent grass. Besides, most holes are guarded by bunkers and creeks, posing a challenge for any golfer of any handicap. In particular, hole 3 is a dogleg on the right up the slope. Unlimited to the right, a large green front bunker, and a small creek dividing the fairway in half. The second shot is one of the greatest challenges at Sacom Golf Club. Most golfers do it but end up on the short line or OB on the right side of the green. Take 1-2 more strokes because there is more space on the green to go down par.
Another wonderful hole is hole 12 of the par-4. Playing as a dogleg to the right with serious uphill terrain, there is an elevated bunker lying on the fairway and 200 yards from the tee. A monster drive of 240 yards or even more is needed to release the danger; otherwise, layup up to about 180 yards is a much safer approach. Also, the entire right side is guarded by a vertical stone wall gouged out of the mountain to make the hole. Hitting to this side, and the ball bounces off the hill and back onto the fairway. To make matters more challenging, the green is broken in two tiers and protected by bunkers on all sides. It’s a hole so hard that bogey is a good point.

Sacom Tuyen Lam golf club has a luxury resort located on the peninsula in the heart of Tuyen Lam Lake, separate from the rest areas with green space and fresh air. Facilities at SAM Tuyen Lam Golf feature a modern clubhouse, practice areas and covered driving range. The on-site restaurant, professional store and dressing room are quite basic like the 12 living rooms at a golf resort. Nearby large luxury villas and 5-star hotels are also on-site accommodation and play options. Although SAM Tuyen Lam Lake Golf Course is hilly, the golf course is available on foot or optional golf car rental.
