Chicago’s Outerbelt Route is a linkup of trails and roads which allows you to circumambulate (or circumnavigate if you roll that way) around Chicago mostly in natural spaces. In the autumn and winter of 2020, we’ve set out to do the whole route in sections. In fact, since we’re doing each section as an out-and-back, when we finish we’ll have completed the loop twice!
In this segment we travel from Forest Park to Catherine Chevalier Woods, 20 miles roundtrip.
