Letting gravity control your golf swing – remove the early shoulder turn (348)

When the upper body starts to move early then all sorts of issues arise, in Cassie’s case it is a tendency to pull the ball left (resulting in mis-direction of 15-20 yards with her short irons) which takes the green out of play and means a chip/pitch + putt are required.

So we take a few steps back to remember what it is that creates the speed of our swing, which letting gravity and the club head work properly!

We revisit an old drill to see how it sorts out a couple of things, including of course the early shoulder pull (which we all are prone to under pressure or when we want to hit the ball harder.) but in Cassie’s case also removes the flat back swing that creeps back into her game.
