Scarlett Woods golf course hole by hole review
Part 3

This is the first of hopefully many full hole by hole golf course reviews. I had planned to do many more this Season, and had a few courses interested in collaborating, then Covid-19 happened. Entirely by fluke, and some early morning weather I found myself with a large enough window before the next group to Tee off to properly review Scarlett Woods golf course.

What makes my reviews unique is that they are from the perspective of an average golfer. I don’t hit it 300 yards off the Tee. It’s a banner day when I hit one 250. I am not a PGA professional, scratch golfer, or even a single digit handicap. At my best I’m a Bogey golfer. At the time of this particular Round I was a 21 handicap.

So if you are an average golfer like myself then this is the kind of experience you can expect to have on this particular course. In my opinion Scarlett Woods is a fantastic course for somebody with a bit of experience who is serious about improving. It challenges you in ways that many of the larger courses don’t. It’s relatively quick to play, easy to walk, and inexpensive. You can’t really ask for much more out of a public city course.
