PLYOMETRICS | MEDBALL FIG. 8 DRILL | INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE/PRO
🎾 The purpose of this drill is to become more explosive to improve ball impact by engaging the core using an open stance on the forehand and stepping into the ball on the backhand.
🔑 The key to performed this drill effectively is staying synchronized to jump and catch the ball in the air while keeping the core engaged. This drill requires to maintain high intensity and good focus while landing properly.
1️⃣ Engage muscle, jump
2️⃣ Explode forward
3️⃣ Catch the ball in the air using core
4️⃣ Land, side shuffle to forehand side
5️⃣ Use open stance
6️⃣ Throw medicine ball back
7️⃣ Repeat on the backhand side
8️⃣ Use open stance or close stance
