This clip from Blue Lake features the closing two holes of a round that, if you were there, would certainly remember as an exceptional display from three of the greatest disc golfers of their era; Ken Climo, Barry Schultz and Jay Reading.
AND, a bonus glimpse of some of the aggressive, emotionally-charged play from Patrick Brown, the Nor-Cal and Golden Gate Park DGC standout.
All in all, viewers can expect a much closer access to the stars than they are accustomed to having during live coverage of a Major. The Blue Lake layout became a worthy testing ground for all four of these featured players.
Schultz and Climo are perennially considered to be at the acne of our sport, and they continue their relentless journey to plant that Winner’s flag in their namesake’s. The discord between these two was palpable and unforgiving on this day. Their technical prowess and mental tenacity are key components in sustaining this legendary rivalry that has now been adopted into disc golf lore.
The decorated veteran, Jay “Yeti” Reading, also remains poised for attack throughout the entire journey and back to the clubhouse, where his army of faithfuls await his return.
