In this video I am wearing Black Air Force 1s shoes and am playing against one of my friends who thinks they can beat me wearing black Air Force 1s. Around the basketball community there is a stereotype that people who wear Black Air Force 1s are extra aggressive and don’t really know how to play basketball but however they foul extra and are things hard for the opponent.

“people who choose to wear these shoes for being suspicious unreliable, or downright dangerous. To many, Black Air Force 1 shoes, which are also known as black forces or black AF1’s, will forever be associated with criminal activity. Wearers of the shoes are often considered to be shady, untrustworthy, and suspicious.”

I don’t remember when it was decided that the all black Air Force 1 was the signature shoe of the degenerate. I just remember nobody wore them on purpose unless they either worked in a kitchen, did robberies for a living, or were dopeheads. This theory wasn’t coined by any specific person, it was just understood.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is a men’s professional basketball league in North America, composed of 30 teams (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada). It is one of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada, and is widely considered to be the premier men’s professional basketball league in the world.[citation needed]

The league was founded in New York City on June 6, 1946, as the Basketball Association of America (BAA).[1] It changed its name to the National Basketball Association on August 3, 1949, after merging with the competing National Basketball League (NBL).[2] The NBA’s regular season runs from October to April, with each team playing 82 games. The league’s playoff tournament extends into June. As of 2015, NBA players are the world’s best paid athletes by average annual salary per player.[3][4]

The NBA is an active member of USA Basketball (USAB),[5] which is recognized by FIBA (also known as the International Basketball Federation) as the national governing body for basketball in the United States.
