Here I try to show chipping basics around the green and then venture out onto the course into the real world.
This was requested by my mates. Had a bit of manflu and croaking like a frog so captions only.
You will notice that I have a wristy chipping technique much like my putting. I guess that’s just my style.
There are no real rights or wrongs in chipping. If you make contact with the ball and pop it on the green and it runs up to the flag your foursomes partner is going to love you. How, does not matter. Never had a card and pencil complain when I’ve written a PAR on it.
Like anything else – if you want to get good at something you must practice, practice, practice.
