Get Maximum Efficiency Out of Your Swing | Achieving a Single Figure Handicap | Padraig Harrington

In the seventh Paddy’s Golf Tip video in the series on helping every golfer achieve a single-figure handicap, I now move on to swinging efficiently to maximize distance for the slower swingers. I provide a few pointers to assist in swinging from the inside with a strong clubface, including the importance of being on your left side, a tip involving the forearms, and another involving aiming, amongst others.

  1. I’m 58 and with a slow swing speed. When swinging that way with my driver, I’m constantly fighting a duck hook.

  2. Congratulations on your win this weekend Paddy!
Thanks for all your efforts here trying to help us duffers make fewer duffs!

  3. should us higher speed players (I'm at 110 driver speed) be hitting cuts? because I do find on the course that my irons can hook if I go at the ball hard

  4. I went that way with my golf and developed a snap hook, it was like a disease, i couldn't get out of it but after time I realised i was just learning how to feel what I was doing and went back to a fade, I'm straighter now than I've ever been. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards.
