Being ranked in college sports is based on someone else's opinion. As a fan i have mixed emotions. I don't care as long as we beat everyone in our conference, and if you're ranked 12th but beat everyone in the playoffs, you're the Champions and who cares?

Apparently, Herron can't get past his personal dislike for Minn having played for Iowa, otherwise, Minn is on that defensive list. Minn currently sits 9th in Total Defense in the FBS and their Pass Defense is 7th in the country with only Wash being better in the B1G. Yet, Oregon at 12th and NEB at 16th in Total Defense are apparently better than Minn. If you can't be objective with the list then have another analyst pull it.
