I’m an elder millennial, regular golfer, definitely never been described as one of those obnoxious golfer bros, but man do I enjoy when these guys put out content on YouTube. Anyone else with me?
(I still love the weekends at the Major tournaments of course!)

I recently discovered Byran Bros and I like it quite a bit. Getting to watch good golfers talk through their thoughts as they approach different situations helps me when I’m on the course. It helps me understand how to think about a shot or a lie or where my ball might end up.
Bryson has won me over as a fan with his videos as well
I’m almost 52 and I pretty much only watch YouTube golf now outside of maybe a bit of the weekend at the majors and whatever I can catch online while at work. Bryan Bros. are great. Got hooked on watching George during 2020 covid shut-in.
Been that way for a few years for me. PGA Tour needs to pay attention and I think they have begun to. Microphones on the players is essential and getting that 1st person view of being next to the player needs to be incorporated into the broadcasts. They are slow to adapt until forced as we have seen.
I have never watched youtube golf content. I’m old and crotchety.
Some videos really click and I get sucked in and some just don’t. The recent Good Good major at whistling straits was pretty entertaining. It was cool to see how golfers of different skill levels tackled a course of that difficulty. I liked the group they had out there.
I loved Bob does sports, but I feel their content got a little stale. I’ll come out for some of the collabs though.
Bryan Bros is the best golf content on YouTube, in my opinion.
I prefer YouTube golf over regular pga or Liv events too. Any day of the week. Masters and Ryder cup are the exceptions
The guys in this photo all pump out some great content. All way better than the good good stuff at least in my opinion. I’m not a huge fan of Bob does sports channel either but they are entertaining when they are on some of these other guys channels if that makes sense.
I think a lot of people associate YouTube golf with good good which I also personally dislike but guys like the Bryan Bros are completely different content.
You get to see more shots and fewer (no?) ads!
I mean, it’s two different things. I do not think the PGA Tour should be anything remotely similar to YouTube golf. It should be about the best players in the world playing each other on hard courses for lots of prize money.
For some reason these guys just don’t seem to stick for me. Started getting into golf last summer. Found Rick sheils and loved him. But then he got kinda stale for me. My favorite track I’ve ever played was tobacco road, so I plugged that into the tube and found Luke Kwon and Peter Finch. Ate their stuff up for a while and then just kinda stopped. Enjoyed Taco golf for quite a bit, then his whole schtick started wearing thin. Just got into the Bryans and hoping they’ll keep me satisfied for a while!
Imo, it was better when they were all doing their own thing. Now it seems like every other video is a collab with another YouTuber, so it is close to all feeling a little too samey.
Bryson’s break 50 is wonderful.
Rick’s “Can I beat a pro with a 10 shot lead” is spectacular.
If professional golf was condensed a bit and uploaded to YouTube, I’d watch it too. But making plans to watch a random tournament at a specific time, then having half of the broadcast filled with commercials, I’ll pass.
Grant and the Bryan Bro’s are amazing. Rick Shiels might be the most annoying man on the planet and I could take or leave the others.
Taco Golf and his crew is where it’s really at though
Grant, George and Wes are awesome. I learn quite a bit from them and they’re entertaining as hell. Big swing envy on George. Major Cut is the best YT golf content going imo.
Just keep those good good clowns away from this group
No Micah is the best part about this
The Bryan Bros course renovation videos were really good. Cool to see how much that place has changed.
Grants smile creeps me out.
Golf on TV sucks – don’t get me wrong, but these guys are so annoying holy shit.
My dad was at Solina playing that day, and he texted me that he met Rick Shiels. He had didn’t know who the rest of the guys were lol.
I feel obligated to mention No Laying Up’s YouTube content. It is very different than the guys in this pic, but I find it much more enjoyable. Strapped will always be my favorite series
Bryan Bros are awesome! I think they help show that you can still have a good time and try to focus on getting good.
This to me is normal golf. I love the pros but will never play that good. I can watch Trent daddy try to break 90 and relate. I love the good natured smack talk , and we now play some of the games they play on fore play and good good. The ladies add dimension to the round. They give as good as they get. Making the cut with the Bryans is a blast. Riggs taking down the haters is fun too.
Interesting that there isnt one memtion of foreplay in here
I enjoy Trent’s breaking series…fun watching his game get better.
I find most of them to be incredibly boring and recycling the same content and same guests all around each other. Rick Shiels is one I don’t understand the popularity of he’s just stale these days and has become incredibly whiney and complains too much and as soon as he hits a bad shot his mental game is gone and the round is done. The only golf youtuber I like to watch is Golf Sidekick I find him to be more original than the rest of them are.
I used to like BDS but they’ve hit a bit of a wall too and it really depends on their guests whether I watch them or not and their most recent guests were an easy click off the video after 5 minutes. FP has given off major vibes of not wanting to be there for a while and Bob tries to force the comedy too much at times.
Personally I enjoy watching pros like Bryson and Phil Mickelson play casual rounds with each other than watching youtubers.
I started off with Rick, he introduced me to BDS and Finch, then I picked up Grant and Bryan Bros and some BustaJack.
Collabs are fun occasionally, but like others say, the niches are what each of them are best at
I understand the appeal. It’s light, fun, and you get to know the guys. Plus, you can watch when you feel like it. I’ll look in on occasion.
But to be honest, I really enjoy watching the best talent compete. I think the networks have to do better with the presentation of golf (throw in some shanks).
If I have to choose 1 vs other, I am picking standard PGA tourney golf.
I can’t stand Horvat’s lack of eyebrows. Bob Does Sports is pretty fun though.
Wait until you meet Taco, Harry Na, and Sam Heung Min
