I can see how the top tier players would want to play this Maybank tournament. It's a fantastic tropical atmosphere with one of the top non-major purses on tour, plus it's a no-cut limited field where they award the best aesthetically looking trophy prize in all of golf!🐯
This could finally be the week that Jeeno closes the win. She's such a talented golfer, which is why she's had a lot of top 10s, but it's her final round average that gets her every time. Her scoring average for the first three rounds is one of the top on tour, but she ranks 26th in final round average. I'm suspecting that having Yin in the final group will help settle her down. Always nice to play with friends.
Of course, there's Ryu in contention again. Such an underrated player this year. Number one in birdies and ball striking will always give you a chance to win. 🤙
