Denmark’s Nicolai Hojgaard sneaked in to the top 70 after a superb back-nine blitz at the Genesis Championship.
Hojgaard was in danger of being shut out of Abu Dhabi but he birdied four of the last seven holes to card a 66 and finish T9.
That more importantly bumped him up 11 spots to 67th in the DP World Tour Rankings.
Other big moves were made by the likes of South Africa’s Casey Jarvis, who jumped 18 spots to 59th, and Italy’s Francesco Laporta who rose 24 places to 60th.
Jarvis and Laporta both finished T6 in Korea.
Richard Mansell made it in on the number (70th) despite shooting 78 and 71 on the weekend to finish 58th.
The Genesis Championship also marked the end of the regular DP World Tour season, and so it saw a host of players lose their cards for 2025.
All players that finished outside the top 115 – except for those with exemptions through to next season – lost their full playing privileges on the DP World Tour next season.

But in this article, we’re taking a closer look at those players that punched their tickets to the Playoffs, starting off in Abu Dhabi.
Rory McIlroy wasn’t in action in South Korea but he is still looking pretty at the top of the standings as he goes in pursuit of a sixth Race to Dubai.
Should he go on to complete the job, which looks a certainty right now, McIlroy would match the feat of late great Seve Ballesteros for six Harry Vardon trophies.
LIV Golf stars Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton are also safely through.
