Can We Break Pinehurst’s Course Record?

Huge thanks to Mack Weldon for making today’s video possible! Head over to https://mackweldon.com/?utm_source=streaming&utm_medium=podcast&utm_campaign=podcastlaunch&utm_content=RGCutm_term=RGC for 20% off your first order!

Pinehurst No. 10, designed by Tom Doak, is the resort’s newest course. At the time of this video, the course had only been open for a few days and the official course record was 2 over. We brought out NCAA National Champion and Pinehurst Caddie, Brandon Pierce, to break it.

  1. I’ve seen it a few times now and I just can’t hold back anymore. That putter is so ugly. It may be at the forefront of putting technology, but it is uhhh-gly.

  2. This video doesn’t do this course justice. It’s such a difficult track but every hole is so insanely well thought out and such pretty course. The walkup to hole ten was such a cool experience. Could easily see this course sneak up into the top 100 when the course gets more broken in.

  3. I enjoyed the video a lot, the edit was great, but the same hole flyover music really wore me down. Didnt match the vibe of the video. That being said, keep up the great videos!

  4. Found RGC at the right time. I'm heading to Pinehurst soon to play 4, 2 and 10. You've provided insights into 2 and 10. I can only hope to have Thomas or Brandon as my caddie. Thanks for a fun series and showing how everyday golfers can "enjoy" a challenging course.

  5. Anyone else notice on the par 3 #11 they said the hole was 382 yards? I was like dang, that's a tough hole. Turns out it was 182 yards, which is a little easier but not by much

  6. Why do Americans call it ‘Handicap 11’???? It’s called stroke index 11!!! We invented the bloody game!!!

  7. For as chill as EAL acts, the complete focus on score here and in all the breaking series is a really destructive mindset for non-tournament golf

  8. Love RGC videos usually, but the dark, tense, ominous music over and over killed the vibe. It would've completely changed the video for the better to have some lighter chill music.
