  1. The brutal truth about all new golf clubs…. They are all waaaay overpriced and someone with hand me down free clubs can still beat you lol.

  2. Well the new 770 are out now, so why would anyone buy them? Plus with the P7CB out, a lot of 770 players are going to combo the set. I’m personally in the process now. Moving from 790 into 770/ P7CB 8-AW

  3. Black irons look great on the shelf, but look like three year old irons after a month or two of use. I use the new 770s in the long irons and love them.

  4. Black golf clubs look stupid to begin with. Add to that, over time they look awful and worn like you've played them for 30 years. Put those two together, and it's pretty obvious why no one with a sane mind is buying black clubs. It's a fad, it only appeals to a certain generation which you may be a part of, it's the same generation that wears flat brim hats and thinks they look good, while everyone else laughs at them

  5. They all mark up immediately and look crap in weeks. Same with all the black or coloured ones. Just a sales gimmick really, especially when the look doesn't last. Taylormade also seem to release a new set every other week and have lost their way in product terms.

  6. I got the piece of the p770s I would have got the black but it was not available at the time to purchase. What I enjoy most about them is the consistency of distance and playability. Very versatile. Honestly I'm so happy with them I don't see changing out until they wear out.

  7. Sure black clubs look awesome.. but when a DTC like Maltby can do a much higher quality DBM black that actually holds up for years and charge $420/set, shame on TM for continuing to use outdated trash PVD that only lasts a month tops.. and still charge a premium for it🤦‍♂️.. thats where the real scam is

  8. I have the 2011 Adams Idea a12 Pro Black and the colour is wearing well. Let’s call it patina! They still feel great. KBS Tour S ! P770 is fab looking set in any colour!

  9. I feel sorry for Bobby. He has a cruel and merciless boss.
I also feel sorry for GolfClubs4Cash. They have a cruel and merciless customer who thinks he should get almost his full investment back when he trades in.
James is cruel and merciless! 🤣🤣🤣
Edit: I'll take the Bobby part back now, as he got his breakfast bought for him! 😁

  10. If you played a round with a mate and they talked all the time you would tell them to shut up, but we all love James’s videos

  11. These irons look bad ass. My issue would be if the black finish on the club head peels off over time.

  12. Out of my price range 😢, p770s nice looking clubs but my mate got the Takomo 201s very very nice 🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏼‍♂️

  13. "Can you get something a little bit more good looking that does the job for you?"

    You still talking about golf?

  14. I’m pretty sure players are just getting sick of the ridiculously stupid prices of golf clubs now. There is not a SINGLE chance that the “tech” they add each year brings up the value of the clubs by 200$ per season. It’s a scam.

Companies should release new irons like every 3 years so they can actually make marked improvements or at the very least players might be ready to upgrade at that point.

  15. They are still available because of the price and the fact that if you don’t play superb with them all your mates think you are a complete nob for having blacked out pimped irons

  16. I got copper forge tech cobra irons from 2020. 4i to gw with graphite shafts for under 1000 cad. They are soo pretty but i dont want to damage them so i use headcovers lol

  17. I paid $6000 Australian for a set of custom fitted Callaway Apex ti Fusion irons 😢 4 weeks ago. Still waiting for them to be built. 😫

  18. For £1,400 I'll be looking at Takomo. The prices of golf equipment is ridiculous. The blacked out look does look amazing but i just can't get over the prices.

  19. I'll get some hate for saying this, but as for keeping the black finish looking good on all but the face. Iron head covers.

  20. I’m probably the only one but I hate the look of black clubs. The copper clubs I think look amazing. Loved the copper takomo you were playing.
