Hey Golf Mates, welcome back to another episode of season five! This week, we’re taking you to City of Derry Golf Club, and it’s a course that really blew us away. And the best part? This is just part one of two, so there’s even more to come!

Before we arrived, we noticed there wasn’t much in terms of videos or footage online about this place, so we weren’t sure what to expect. But let me tell you, City of Derry exceeded all of our expectations. From the well-maintained fairways to the perfectly rolled greens, this course is a hidden treasure that offers incredible value for the price. You’d be hard-pressed to find this level of quality for the same cost anywhere else.

And for this trip, we had the pleasure of staying at Blackrock B&B. It was the perfect place to unwind after a great day on the course, with cozy rooms and a warm welcome that made us feel right at home. A huge thanks to Super Nic, the owner, for making our stay so comfortable—she really made us feel like part of the family.

The course layout is as enjoyable as it is challenging, with a great variety of holes that keep you on your toes. Plus, the stunning views of the River Foyle add a scenic backdrop to an already brilliant round. It’s a course that more golfers should have on their radar, and we’re thrilled to give you a closer look.
