    Desmond Howard seems to think Texas is the new team at the top in the SEC. I had to laugh when he dawned the cowboy hat and toothpick on collage gameday picks Saturday morning. As far as all the hype with Pat McAfee singing, "the eyes of Texas are upon you", during his pick, it did make for a good laugh as he tried to woo the home crowd. When it comes to Lee Corso…well, let's just excuse his Texas pick as an attempt to still be relevant while battling old age and dementia. I understand that it is easy to want new blood in the championship…it's understandable that boredom can set in after some time…Bame experienced it in the not-so-distant past too. All the great teams do. Georgia has lost two games in recent years…once to Alabama on a late field goal, and once to Alabama on a late touchdown. Nobody can win em all…. every team will lose a tuff game on the road in the SEC… but it is wise to remember who you are picking against when it seems like something new would be fun! Sure hope they didn't put any money on their picks! GO DAWGS!

    What stands out to me most about the game is without that 🤡 Beck throwing those 3 picks the last of which put them at the 10yrd line and that squib kick that Kirby swears was not intentional. I don’t think Texas would have even scored!!

    I find it completely ignorant that a team who had literally played nobody of any substance whatsoever got so much hype, and UGA got so disrespected due to a last minute score loss at Bama (after they came back 28 points in the second half).
    Texas was never tested this year, played a schedule full of high school caliber teams (aside from Michigan, who lost to the Badgers and is a joke), yet these clowns all jumped on that BS Texas hype train. I'm not surprised by Desmond and Kirk's pick bc they're both sell outs, especially Kirk, who had always hated UGA, but I'm disappointed with Saban. He should've known better. I knew UGA would beat the brakes off Texas, never doubted it. Texas wasn't battle tested, and they're nowhere nearly as good as the world made them it to be, and UGA showed they're the best team in the country. Playing in the SEC is very different than any other conf. I'll make another prediction: Texas drops another, probably to A&M or UF, and UGA wins the Natty. Nobody can hang with UGA, aside from maybe The Ducks. And that's still a BIG maybe.
    Kirby Smart is the best coach in college football. Never doubt Georgia!
