Hidden gem cardigan golf club
Gotta say this is the most negative round of golf I’ve ever seen!! 13th for example. 235 to clear water. You had a fitting for a 245 carry. And you lay up!! Why? Worst case you take a drop. No different to a lay up! Far too many irons and fairway woods off the tee when you’re a great driver of the ball. Think a change of approach is what you need.
Great course. New clubs. Take your time mate.
Maybe you need to have a quick practice. Or did you? A bit more confidence in your shots matey
Sorry Matt. You need to swing the club and not try to direct your shots. You're much better than that and stop the negative talk. Leave those bad things to me 🤡
It's annoying Matt but leave your putting alone as it's probably the best part of your game.

Carrbridge (nr Aviemore) is a tremendous 9 hole course: great value, up and down, and extremely welcoming to visitors.

My home course fits your criteria of a great value well kept golf course, certainly worth a visit from your good self.
Stockwood Park Golf Centre is a mature parkland course just off of junction 10 of the M1, a great test of golf with a really interesting layout at a fair price. You would be most welcome @Mattfryergolf.

Should play cleeve hill in Cheltenham played it in June and all 20 of us said it’s in our top 10 and only about £30

Seems to be a rule in golf you have to use a wedge for chipping. Bring back the 7,8,9 iron bump and run 😁

We would all like to play perfect golf but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that , stop being so down on yourself , you are a very good player , I would like to be able to play as good as you , you will see red scores sooner than you believe, positive mental attitude, good luck

Lovely video Matt! Grew up playing Dunnerholme as a kid, great to hear that Monday night is still junior night. Last played it 5 years ago after my Dad passed away and they had the flag at half mast for him. Truly a wonderful club, thank you for highlighting it – looks in great condition.
Would love you to play a few courses down south. Tidworth GC is a little gem. I wonder what you'd make of that.

matt Ulverston golf club just down the road you go past iit to get to dunnerholme views to die for and signature holes the 5th 17th and 18 th are truly challenging you wont be disappointed

Not a good example for younger golfers, throwing clubs. Accept your shots and move on.many times I hear you talk about making birdies,that sets expectations too high.good golf is boring golf set your sights on par, birdies will come organically

love all the content always …you take me to places ill never get to experience myself ….on that note ive said it before , little request / suggestion ….perfect example is @ 19:52 in this video on top of the rock green talking about the panoramic scenery and views galore …now i know matt is the centre of the video but when you have that kind of view i think its okay to take camera off mr fryer for 30 seconds and SHOW US THE FULL PANORAMIC VIEW ….PLEASE ….its just so very frustrating to have matt rattling on about how glorious it is and then not seeing what he is looking at …especially because its a few slow body turns to achieve this

Sub 30 putts is so far from my game. I'm off 11 but am a terrible putter. My aim for next season is a round of no 3 putts.

This time of year in the south (Essex) really good draining course is Cranham Golf Course. Short but water on some holes is it's defence and fast greens. I think about £20 for 18 holes
