we’ve been recruiting a lot better on the defensive side of the ball is part of why those guys are always ready to go. stability in the defensive coaching staff too (which also affects the recruiting evaluation consistency)

Before Hebert broke his ankle, he was ranked top 100 player, 6th ranked QB an elite 11 invite. Watch his film. Good footwork, mechanics and 4.6 speed. With overall good size at 6’3 215. Good quality QB for this late in the recruiting game
I think ESPN still has Hebert #6 QB but it's ESPN recruiting. He clocked a 4.6 forty. He's definitely better than Angeli coming out of HS so if he develops within 2-3 years and he has to come in do to injury or something I think he'll do fine.

That's what I love about you Malik you're a competitor bro and when you get your time to compete add to show what you have you only got one shot and when you get it you better go all out for it. And you cannot complain about anything because your time is coming and when it does that's your shot. I understand Hebert isn't the best QB left in the class that ND could have tried to get this late in the game for 2025 however he isn't a scrub… His competition may make him look better than what he truly is, but he does have escapability as a dual threat, good mechanics, accurate & throws 50 plus yd bombs effortlessly
