How to tell if you grew up down south or not lol
I live on the west coast and I played in Florida. One time I hit the ball off the course into the deep shrubs and junk. I was walking to go in to look for it and a local grabbed me by the shoulder and said don't go in there without a weapon! 1 lost ball, stroke and distance.
The second reaction is the more appropriate (and safest) reaction. ๐

Lol, I was playing a charity event at my local course (gator links), I go to tee up on the 4th when I notice something coming towards me from about 80 yards out from behind the trees, it was a fan wanting a picture and an autograph, It wasn't a serious event so no officials near the tee-box so I said "For sure, man" (they where a woman but I just say man as a universal thing), Next thing I know they're on the phone telling their mom about how they just got a picture with me (keep in mind I'm on the tee box with an easy eagle ahead of me), so she's chatting away and I'm doing practice swings, adjusting my pants and twiddling my thumbs waiting for her to finish the call so I can drive my ball with prestige intellect, she finishes the call, gives last thanks and walks away, I smack it down the fairway, its almost a gimme (probably 70 yards out, easy chip and run), There was a bit of a bend and elevation to get to the green, I walk up to check the slopes so I can run it down into the hole and there was a 8' 'gator sitting perched on the top of the green, Go back to my ball that's about 70 yards out, hit a nice shot, obviously the balls in the hole, I guess the ball scared the 'gator off because it wasn't there when I went to retrieve my ball and move onto the next tee, but that's my gator story (the video reminded me of the gator story)

I've had to wait for a saltwater crocodile to get off the green on a Par 3 hole on a course in Tropical North Queensland, Australia, (Port Douglas). It was a long wait, crocs don't let you play through.
Their are brave people and cowards. I bet the second guy would let his wife be eaten by it before him..
