Nice analysis boys, keep it up.
You don’t realize how much this team lacked toughness, until you watch both of these games. The amount of roughing up, face washing and scrums after the whistle, rally stood out.
Buffalo sabers fans were crying so much about the Peterka hit. It just proves they have almost 0 knowledge about hockey or more likely they are completely biased. After complaining about the hit they tried saying our top 6 isn’t elite 😂. If they’re not elite why did they light you up two games in a row, what a joke of a fan base.
Guys. Need to keep learning the game as you post this excellent podcast
Big Mac had a great game and logged a hit and a block as well as two great break ups down in the devils zone. Big Mac simply intimidates and it’s obvious as he is out on the ice. That is what this team is imposing on everyone this season. His role is singular and whether he is smashing someone’s face in or just policing the ice to let opponents know a broken jaw is only a shift away a sherrif is always a critical part of any team.
Great job noticing how well the top line played. Meir was great. Try not to pay attention to advanced stats. Those are for video game fans not real hockey players. Dan it’s good to see you getting to the locker room now. Your learning curve will be fun to watch. Keep up the great work guys! Love your show
