  1. I’ve done the same testing on my BLP with similar insights and the same conclusion. Prioritizing spin and flight: ProV1 is clearly the best fit for my game (and equipment), w/ subjective bonus being it has a soft but responsive feel for short game.

  2. Yes the golf ball matters big time. You want to match your ball with your driver, especially, to give yourself the biggest advantage off the tee. With my new GT2, I chose the Hzrdus Black which is a lower spinning shaft, so I need the extra spin and launch that the ProV1x provides. I love the high launch off the driver of the ProV1x. The ProV1 will launch too low with my driver, but I like the softer feel. If Titleist could make a ball that feels like the ProV1, but the launch of the ProV1x, they would have the perfect ball. Chipping, I do think with my stroke, I like the ProV1x better as well. Irons they react pretty similar in the air, but I do like how the X stays where it lands with my irons. But like you mentioned, it is a very consistent ball which I like. Finding the best ball for your individual swing is key. Great video

  3. The Pro V1 left dash is a low spin ball. I thought the AVX is between the V1 and V1x. I would compare those three balls and see what the results will be. I like the Pro V1, but I like the chrome tour x better. I get the distance off the driver and still get maximum spin with it as well.
